Flint Dexter: gained his powers through random mutant gene awakening during puberty. Like everyone else who gained powers he tried to be a superhero but ultimately failed to gained the recognition and fame needed to make it a career. He had a very brief stint as a villain, one job, where he was confronted by Silver from the Warriors who punched him and pretty much ended that career immediately (you don’t take 2 punches from Silver). Fortunately Flint was able to get away without being recognised and has kept that shame to himself.
Since then he opened his own PI firm where he specialises in the most difficult jobs to do with Superhero/mutant/villain events. He is models himself like a Constantine/Film Noir figure – alcoholic, grizzled, street hard and would do anything for a dame.
He has a mum, Martha who is quite elderly but healthy but the father has passed away. His father was a geologist working in Iraq who apparently died in a rebel attack. They were aware of his abilities and urged him into the superhero life and were pretty disappointed when he initially packed it in. As such, flint isn’t as close to his mum as he once was but still goes to see her at least once a month for a nice home cooked meal.
Flint has a brother Jasper who is an accountant with no special powers at all. He is a nice guy and him and flint are pretty close. Brother supports liverpool, flint Man utd…. This is always a source of conflict. They trust each other but don’t necessarily share secrets uneededly.
