22/07/2009 A full invasion fleet comes through above the UK (in particular above Romaine Wharf and Claremont Academy/Wessex) – Doc’ Challenger-Wildeman, Jack Wolfe, Doc’s daughter Andrea and husband Sharik (Scott Free) managed to close the rift trapping a number of Omega-drones behind when the breach was closed by Andrea and Scott Free at the cost of their lives.
London Watch was joined by the Nouveaux Chevaliers de Paris to defend the city of London whilst Bundesgarde joined the Protectors and Aontacht Éire in attacking the invading forces coming through other, smaller breaches across the rest of the country.
The Wessex Warriors were decimated trying to protect Wessex from the attack by Omega-drones and Omega-Destroyers. A Probot materialised at Claremont Academy Facility and was defeated by teachers and meta-human students after all the breaches were sealed preventing further troops coming through. The school was badly damaged during the attack.
A breach remains above Claremont Academy – currently locked down by a teleportal beneath the school. A second, older breach remains above Romaine Wharf and is monitored and controlled by the Challenger-Wildeman family.
Silver Storm
07/02/2012 Ongoing since – the last storm (over Southern England) was six months before.
A worldwide abnormal storm believed to be inter-dimensional in origin (and possibly linked to the Terminus) that affected hundreds of people in nations around the world. The storm consisted of clouds of silvery mist, flickering with blue-white energy. Some of those touched by the ominous roiling clouds were changed, transformed with the mist activating meta-human abilities in those with the metagene.
It is believed that the storm may have consisted of non-terrestrial nanites and the fact that the storm appeared and could completely disappear for months at a time, would seem to indicate that they were extra-dimensional in origin.
People with inactive metagenes had their abilities activated permanently by interacting with the Silver Storm.
It is believed that due to its timing (occurring only a few years after the Terminus Invasion) that this may have been related to the invasion.
